"The Health and Safety objective of West Anglia Insulation Ltd is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and illnesses and ultimately to achieve an accident-free workplace.

To implement the policy and achieve the stated objective all employees are provided with the necessary information, instruction, training and supervision as necessary, in particular, this extends to:

Providing adequate control of the Health & Safety risks arising from our work activities  Consulting with our employees on matters affecting their Health & Safety  Providing and maintaining safe plant and equipment  Ensuring safe handling and use of substances  Ensuring employees are competent to do their tasks, or if in the case of being trained, are competently supervised at all times

West Anglia Insulation Limited recognise and accept their duty to protect the Health and Safety of all visitors to the company, contractors and temporary workers working on behalf of the company and members of the public who might be affected by our operations.

Whilst the management of West Anglia Insulation Limited will do all that is within its powers to ensure the health and safety of its employees, it is recognised that Health and Safety at work is the responsibility of each and every individual associated with the company. It is the duty of each employee to take reasonable care of their own and other people's welfare and to report any situation which may pose a threat to the well being of any other person."

Safety Awards For 3 consecutive years (2001-2003) the company has won a prestigious safety award from the British Safety Council. Our company is one of only around 1,000 winners from large to small enterprises allover the country who have won the award and faced a tough test in order to satisfy the independent awards panel.

Winners must have lower than average accident rates, good Safety Policies and Safety Plans and commitment to Health and Safety at the highest board level. We also must detail our Health and Safety Officer's qualifications and provide details of significant advances in Health & Safety for the year.
